The SEIA conference is focusing any significant breakthrough and innovation in Sensors, Electronics, Measuring Instrumentation and Transducers Engineering Advances and its applications with broadest concept. The main aim of SEIA conference is to find solutions, which let to withstand the mentioned restraining factors.

After successful events in 2015 (Dubai, UAE), 2016 (Barcelona, Spain), 2017 (Moscow, Russia), 2018 (Amsterdam, The Netherlands), 2019 (Tenerife (Canary Islands), Spain), 2020 (Porto, Portugal), 2021 (Palma de Mallorca (Balearic Islands), Spain), the SEIA' 2022 will take place in Corfu, Greece on 21-23 September 2022 in conjunction with the 4th IFSA Frequency and Time Conference (IFTC' 2022) under the same conference umbrella in-person format.

The conference is organized by the International Frequency Sensor Association (IFSA) - one of the major professional, non-profit association serving for sensor industry and academy more than 20 years. Next to all the technical subjects, a major function of this series of events lies in the opportunities for meeting colleagues. This aspect of our IFSA event has always been giving high marks and we continue to pay much attention to it. IoT and Smart Sensors in Agriculture 4.0 (Special Session)

Agriculture 4.0 incorporates the evolution of precision farming and refers to all actions that are carried out in agriculture based on a, precise and accurate analysis of data and information collected and transmitted through advanced tools and technology. This refers to the tools and strategies that enable the synergistic use of a range of digital 4.0 technologies, in turn allowing the automatic collection, integration and analysis of data collected from the field, from sensors, or from other third-party sources. The aim of these technologies is to offer the most extensive and precise support to farmers in the decision-making process related to their activity and the relationship with other parties in the supply chain.

Agriculture 4.0 refers to the use of Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics to extend, speed up, and increase the efficiency of activities that affect the entire production chain. In this context the special session promotes the submission of papers related but not restricted to the following topics.:
