Generative AI Policy

For Authors

Authors who utilize generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) or AI-assisted technologies in manuscript preparation shall restrict such use to enhancing readability and language quality only. All AI-assisted output must be subject to human oversight, review, and editing to mitigate risks of inaccuracy, incompleteness, or bias. Authors retain full responsibility and liability for the content of their work.

The use of generative AI or AI-assisted tools to create or modify images in submitted manuscripts is prohibited. Acceptable adjustments are limited to brightness, contrast, or color balance, provided they do not obscure or remove original information.

The use of AI or AI-assisted technologies must be explicitly disclosed in the Cover Letter. Such disclosure shall be reflected in the published version to ensure transparency, maintain trust among stakeholders, and comply with applicable terms of use.

AI platforms shall not be designated as authors or co-authors. Authorship presumes human agency, including responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the work, the authority to approve its final version, and the consent to its submission. Authors further warrant the originality of the work, confirm the eligibility of listed authors, and ensure non-infringement of third-party rights. Authors must adhere to the journal’s Ethics Statement in upper menue prior to submission.

In the event of any violation of the above provisions regarding the use of AI or AI-assisted technologies, the manuscript shall be subject to rejection.

For Reviewers

Conducting peer review entails responsibilities that are inherently human and cannot be delegated to generative AI or AI-assisted technologies. Reviewers shall not employ such technologies to assist in the scientific evaluation of manuscripts, given that critical analysis and independent judgment exceed the capabilities of these tools and pose risks of generating inaccurate, incomplete, or biased assessments. Reviewers remain fully responsible and liable for the content and integrity of their review reports.

In the case of any violation of the above provisions regarding the use of AI or AI-assisted technologies in the review process, the review will be not taken into account at the final decision concerning the submitted manuscript, and the appropriate notification will be sent to reviewer.
